Ianal: Woudl the Supreme Court reexamine right to privacy in public? With so many government cameras, and increasingly shrinking personal life-blogging camera devices (i.e. Meta Glasses), might the Supreme Court feel it necessary to reexamine United States v. Knotts, which laid out the in-public, thus no privacy doctrine? The public concern of cameras, now with AI, may lead to a broader backlash against them, and laws akin to privacy laws in Europe. |
