The best thing I ever did Was tell Apple, NO. Im not changing my app. (and nor will I write any more for your app store) The next best thing I did was stop being a slave to this machine. Why would I let Apple force me to write more code when an app has been tested to the extreme, but they have "opinions" which are not related to security or reliability, which force me to redesign a perfectly good app? It's not about walled gardens anymore kids, no its NOT about security. Its about minimum wage kids telling you to redesign your app because those kids have an opinion. (And they are soo valid) I have lost any respect for Apple I may have had. And although I make more than my developer fees cost, Im done with both iOS and Mac app stores. Apple's opinions mean less than nothing to me. I make working/secure/non douchy (looking at you facebook) software at my own expense, and I dont care what Apple thinks about it. So maybe Ill be the one stewing over it, or Ill probably just let it go, once the terrible iOS7 wrecks iOS. But thats a side note. Im a pro, and I really dont care what Apple thinks. I suggest you adopt the same approach. Ditch the app store its a fucking joke. |
