With the global rise of 'Open Source' technologies, and schemes such as Facebook's recent news to bring internet to more of Africa, is the technology environment becoming more ethical and socially responsible or are these plans part of a long-term return on investment strategy? It can be argued that previously the growth of technology has been profits focussed, do you believe that we are turning away from this, or will this always be the ultimate goal?
