I'm currently in the process of setting up a new technology related newsletter, that'll mainly link users to relevant information on networking.

I was thinking of presenting only one or two paragraphs of text, with a "read more" external link. What are your thoughts on "Review of the day" type additions in a side bar?

Also, as a reader, how often would be ideal for you to receive the newsletter? Would every weekday be too much, but just once a week be too little?

And finally, would having an emphasis on making for easy-reading on your phone be an important factor to you?

Any comments, thoughts, advice or criticism is certainly welcomed as I'd like to make this newsletter service exactly what the user wants, rather than what I personally want!
