This is a general question to the HN crowd. Is it wrong of me to want to downvote posts that attempt to portray Israel in a positive light or to add comments distracting from the post content and trying to shift it to Israels treatment of Palestinians or BDS etc.

I realise this comment is actually doing that but theres no point in making an Ask HN thread for such a minor question.
