I’m not a game dev, just curious. Asked AI how to generate grids, check directions, and make it mobile-friendly — and shipped it in a weekend.

Built with HTML, CSS, JS, and Flask. Clean UI. No ads. Just a simple game.

Would love your thoughts!","time":1753861276,"title":"Show HN: I made a Word Search game with the help of an AI assistant","type":"story","url":"https://wordsdescrambler.com/solver/games/wordsearch/"}],[44731669,{"by":"wordbricks","descendants":3,"id":44731669,"kids":[44755188,44731797],"score":10,"text":"I wanted to be able to code with Claude anytime, anywhere — walking, commuting, or at a café. Data says: That’s wrong. (at least, in June 2025)

1. Best Time of Day\nPost between midnight–1AM → 2x more comments than average, yet only 2% of posts are made then.

Avg votes: 25.7 (vs 18 overall)\nAvg comments: 20 (vs 10 overall)

Other high-performing time slots:\nVotes: 4AM, 7AM, 8–10PM, 10PM+ → Avg votes > 20\nComments: 9PM, 11PM → Avg comments > 11

2. Best Day of Week\nUpvotes: Saturday/Sunday → Avg votes > 19\nComments: Sunday/Monday → Avg comments > 10

But beware:

18%+ of posts happen on Monday → high competition

Sunday has lower competition, yet performs well—easiest day to hit the front page with the same vote count.

TL;DR\nFor the best shot at visibility:\nPost Sunday, between midnight and 1AM.
